Celebrate Devoid’s LAST release for 2026 on Friday, Oct. 16 from 5-7 p.m. at Dark Sister!
Volume XIII is all about Vegas storytellers! In this issue, you’ll find profiles on author and filmmaker extraordinaire, Staci Layne Wilson, and the iconic historical fiction author and living character, P Moss. We’re taking a deep dive into Scott Dickensheets’ 40-year journey through local media, along with a two day fever dream with Maria Perez chronicling her experience in the 48 Hour Film Project.
We’ve also got an exceptional lineup of creative writing featuring work from Charlene Stegman Moskal, April Ursula Fox and Jack Rourke. Then we'll listen to local artist Figgy's latest album "Tacho's Muchacho" with Ana Jimenez. We have not one, but two wild-card pieces: Jeffrey Bennington Grindley’s comic "Olly Omnesiac" and, keeping the “O” theme going, a brand-new opinion column by Travis Benson, "The Opsimath".
Join us in celebrating this new issue! Guests are welcome to enjoy a complimentary drink with the purchase of Volume XIII or a yearly subscription.
The event is free to attend, so please spread the word in your circles and help us keep the whirlwind going by attending and purchasing a zine and/or drinks onsite!
