Meet the Team
-
Victoria Koelkebeck lives and breathes Devoid. Known in a past life as “Tornado,” she touched down in Las Vegas in 2021 and founded Devoid Magazine to fill a void in long-form journalism focused on the city’s arts and culture.
-
Andrew Romanelli is a slot machine raised in a supermarket, a writer, poet, and consummate flâneur.
He remains in service to his community as an activist for the disenfranchised and a teaching artist. His first poetry collection, Rotgut, (Zeitgeist Press) was released in 2022, followed by two poetry chapbooks Supermarket Poems and One More Night.
-
Jomhel Tomas is the creative spirit organizing the visual flow of each Devoid Magazine page. Her eye for design seeks to present every piece with aesthetic flare and care. Jomhel’s graphic design skills are backed by roots in photography and mixed media, evidenced through wonderfully crafted projects and works-in-progress, and fueled by matcha oat milk lattes and dark chocolate. With her wand (named Adobe Creative Suite), she is a magician excited to cast her spells and entice the eye.

Tyler Boshard is an engineer and photographer professionally, but quite honestly performs as a server, bartender, props technician, chef, and generally the guy who makes stuff work for Devoid. Tyler has a keen eye for capturing nuanced depth. His photos employ a sharpness that leaves you feeling like you’ve personally experienced whatever he chooses to show you in photos.
