In a world saturated with 24/7 media and daily publishers, we believe the most compelling stories emerge from thoughtful observation and attentive listening over time.

Once printing costs are covered, any remaining revenue—from print sales, advertising, and individual donor contributions—is allocated to our staff and contributors based on the time commitment for each piece.

We believe everyone has an inherent bias. At Devoid we think bias has an integral place in storytelling. We use it to enhance our understanding of the topic by disclosing those biases instead of trying to pretend we don’t have any.
